21 people per session.
What kind of supervision does the camp offer during the day?
Outside of the squash facility, campers will be supervised by the camp’s coaches and counselors at all time.
What kind of supervision does the camp offer during the night?
During the night, Next Step Sports employs 2 counselors who will sleep at the dorm with the campers and will supervise and assist the campers with any crisis during the night.
Is there a separation between male and female campers in the dorms?
Yes, male and female campers sleep on different floors in the dorms and use separate designated bathrooms. The camp employs at least one female counselor each week to assist female campers with any problems at the dorm.
What should the campers bring with them to camp?
Campers should be responsible to bring their own bed linens (single bed), enough clothes for 12 squash sessions, a bathing suit, towels, outdoor running shoes, comfortable clothes for night activities, and some spending money (no more than $100).
Where do the campers eat and sleep?
Next Step Sports will use of Blair Academy's West Hall dorm. Campers will receive a double room with a large common area. Most meals throughout the camp will be served in Blair Academy's dining room. Some meals will be in Blair's new student center.
What are the travel arrangements if coming by air?
Fly into Newark airport (EWR) arriving between 10AM and 3PM on Sunday (6/12 or 6/19). Transportation will be provided by the camp from the airport to Blair Academy and back after the camp. Please provide travel arrangements prior to the camp. Special circumstances can be accommodated.
